Getting Latest Release Using The Program Manager
Getting Latest Production Release.
New user should use Option 2 below. Experienced users can use Option 1 or Option 2
OPTION 1: To get the Latest Production Release while in the Program Manager, simply click the Get Latest Release button and follow the instructions provided in the dialog and messages boxes that appear.
OPTION 2: To get the latest release without running CleanOpsStaff follow the below steps:
Make sure CleanOpsStaff is not running. DO NOT DELETE ANY FILES OR FOLDERS DURING ANY PART OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Use the Windows Control Panel to remove/uninstall CleanOpsStaff from the list of installed program (note that this does not delete any file or folders from your computer.
Click on one of the links in this sentence Download Latest Production Release for Excel 2003 or Excel 2002 Now or Download Latest Production Release for Excel 2007 Now to download CleanOpsStaff based on the version of Excel you are running.- Click Run and OK whenever given a prompt to do so.
- Click Unzip when given a prompt to do so.
- Click Close when given a prompt to do so.
- After the files have been unzipped successfully and you have closed the WinZip tool, Open the C:\CleanOpsStaff Program Files folder and double click on Setup.
- The latest release will be re-installed and the Program Manager will be launched.
- Only if necessary, use your Product Code and Activation Key and re-activate CleanOpsStaff
- Only if necessary, use the CleanOpsStaff-Pro Upgrades button in the left Action Button panel of the Program Manager, to reactivate all your purchased upgrades.
- Quit CleanOpsStaff.
- Now run CleanOpsStaff from the Windows Start button or from your shortcut as usual.
Production Release is intended to be the official release of the application with all enhancements and issues resolutions proven out. As CleanOpsStaff has matured with close to 165 Colleges and Universities, K-12 schools, cleaning service contractors, and green building support firms as clients as of November 20, 2009 and after a little less than two years in the APPA bookstore, many enhancements have been made in response to customer feedback. Effective November 20, 2009, all requests for enhancements and issue resolutions will be applied to a Beta release for a testing period prior to becoming the Production Release. Getting Latest Beta Release
To get the Latest Beta Release while in the Program Manager, simply click the Get Latest Beta button and follow the instructions provided in the dialog boxes that appear.
The Beta Release is intended for users who want to take early advantage of enhancements and issues resolution and provide feedback to shape future enhancements. Beta releases will become the Production Release when Hunter consulting and Training is satisfied that enhancements and issue resolutions have proven out. Users can always re-download the Production Release after using the Beta Release if they choose to do so and then download the Beta Release again when they want to test new enhancements - this cycle can be repeated as often as desired. Hunter Consulting and Training will make every effort to make the Beta Release 100% ready to be a Production Release, however, your feedback and suggestions for shaping future enhancements and improvements would be greatly appreciated.
