 Follow the below steps.

1. Use the Windows Control Panel to Un-install ( ‘Remove’) CleanOpsStaff --- IMPORTANT STEP  -- YOU MUST DO THIS IN ORDER FOR THE NEW PROGRAM MANAGER TO TAKE EFFECT

a.       For Windows XP: execute the following: (Click ‘START’ à Click ‘Control Panel’  à Double Click ‘Add or Remove Programs’ à Find CleanOpsStaff in Screen and Click on it  à Click Change/Remove  à  select ‘Remove the application from then computer’ à click OK

b.      For Windows Vista: execute the following: (Click ‘START’ à Click ‘Control Panel’  à Click ‘Control Panel Home’ à Click ‘Uninstall a program’ à  Find CleanOpsStaff in Screen and Click on it  à Click Uninstall/Change  à  select ‘Remove the application from then computer’ à click OK

  2. Do NOT delete CleanOpsStaff Folders (“C:\CleanOpsStaff Program Files” and “C:\CleanOpsStaff Data Files) 
3.  Ensure CleanOpsStaff is not running --- IMPORTANT
 4. Click one of the following download links  Download for Excel 2003 Now or Download for Excel 2007 Now  to download and extract replacement CleanOpsStaff Data and Program files depending on which version of Excel you are using

a.       Click Run if prompted

b.      Click Run again if you get the Unknown Publisher prompt

c.       Click Extract when the CleanOpsStaff-V1.0 Extract box appears (if it does not appear on the screen, look for it in the task bar at the bottom of your screen and click on it.)

d.      Click Always if the Confirm File Replace box appears  --    IMPORTANT STEP  -- YOU MUST DO THIS IN ORDER FOR TO REPLACE THE OLD MAIN PROGRAM WITH THE NEW ONE

e.      Click OK when the Extraction Complete box appears

f.        Click this link  “C:\CleanOpsStaff Program Files” to run Setup --  If you Do not get the INSTALL box after running Setup, it mean that Step 1 was not done – please repeat step 1

g.       Use your current Product Code and Activation Key to Re-Activate CleanOpsStaff from within the Program Manager:

1.       While in the Program Manager, click the Re-Activate CleanOpsStaff button

2.       Click Yes.

3.       Enter Product Code and Activation Key

4.       Check the “I agree……” Checkbox

5.       Click the Activate CleanOpsStaff button

6.       Click OK each time a message box appears

  5. Activate the Import Wizard’s full features, TechCallBack Support and other Upgrades you have purchased do the following:

a.       In the Program Manager, click on the “CleanOpsStaff-Pro Upgrades“button.  The Program Manager will check the CleanOpsStaff web database for your upgrade status.  Some institutions internet firewalls block unknown web sites and might cause the Program manager to not read your Upgrade Status information.  If this happens, send an email to Hunter Consulting and Training for an alternate activation approach.

b.      Click Yes when asked “Would you want to activate all purchased upgrades and trial Wizards.”

c.       Click OK each time a message box appears with an OK button

d.      Click “Run Full Feature Mode” button to run CleanOpsStaff

e.      The full features of the Wizard should now be available to you.  To test the Wizard do the following:

1.       Click the justDoNext Data import Wizard button at the bottom row of buttons in the Main Menu area.

2.       Look in the Main Panel at the top of the screen and confirm that it Reads “Import Wizard – External Source Data’ and that the word “Demo” no longer appears in the main panel.
